Valquer Laboratories stands out as one of the dermocosmetic laboratories with the highest number of quality certifications at both national and international levels in Europe. Our commitment to quality began in 2002 with the achievement of the ISO 9001 certification in Quality Management. This accreditation highlights our ability to consistently deliver health and beauty products that meet the highest industry standards.
In 2010, we obtained the ISO 14001 certification in Environmental Management Systems, consolidating our position as leaders in sustainable cosmetics and active promoters of environmental protection and pollution prevention. We continued our quality expansion with the ISO 22716 certification in 2011, which endorses our Good Manufacturing Practices in accordance with Regulation 1223/2009. In 2025, we achieved the IFS PROGRESS HPC certification with a score of 96.38%, recognizing our high standards in the production of cosmetic and personal care products.
Likewise, in early 2025, we were awarded the Bronze Medal from EcoVadis with a score of 67/100, reflecting the solid quality of Valquer Laboratories’ sustainability management system.
In addition, Valquer Laboratories actively collaborates with ECOEMBES in the responsible management of packaging. In 2024, our contribution to the SCRAP (Collective System of Extended Producer Responsibility) helped to avoid the emission of 118.92 tons of CO₂ equivalents, save 829.59 MWh of energy, and preserve 1,100 m³ of water, according to the 2024 Environmental Footprint Certificate issued by ECOEMBES. These results reflect our strong commitment to the circular economy and to reducing the environmental impact of our production processes.
This ensures that our natural dermocosmetic products meet the highest standards of management, planning, organization, control, and safety.
At Valquer, our focus is not only on developing vegan and sustainable cosmetics but also on minimizing environmental impact at every step of our production process. Some of our environmental initiatives include:
- Green Energy: We use photovoltaic panels to produce up to 80% of our dermocosmetic products with green energy.
- Effluent Treatment: We have a specialized plant for treating industrial liquids, ensuring that the water discharged into the public sewage system is clean and safe.
- Sustainable Mobility: We incorporate electric vehicles with multiple charging points to reduce our carbon footprint.
- Recycling and Waste Reduction: We implement continuous recycling of paper, plastic, and cardboard in collaboration with authorized companies, and strive to develop zero-waste cosmetics, reducing or eliminating the use of plastics.
