FAQS
Can the products be applied without prior cleaning?
A previous cleaning must be carried out before treating the skin with treatment since the active ingredients will better penetrate the skin.
For what type of skin is it intended?
The depigmenting program provides comprehensive care for skin with pigmentation problems (spots, freckles, etc.). These problems usually arise during the natural aging process or are caused by photoaging.
What is the pigmentation process?
Solar radiation falls on the skin and causes the melanocytes to produce melanin. Melanin is associated with keratinocytes that migrate outwards while progressively darkening.
When does hyperpigmentation occur?
Hyperpigmentation problems occur when excess melanin is generated in a very specific and generally small area. That excess of melanin is what we perceive as a dark area.
How is hyperpigmentation treated?
To deal with this problem, action must be taken at 3 levels in a coordinated manner:
- Inhibiting the synthesis of melanin with Chromabright, (which is the active ingredient in the formulation of the Depigmenting Serum and the SPF 20 Depigmenting Active).
- Preventing solar radiation from stimulating melanin synthesis. Therefore, this type of skin should not be exposed to excess sun, and should use sun protection in the cosmetics you use. That is why the depigmenting active ingredient is formulated with SPF 20. For more extreme cases of intolerance to the sun, a cosmetic with high sun protection should be used (High protection moisturizing cream with SPF 50).
- Accelerating the renewal of the skin in the area of the stain. This is achieved thanks to the action of the Cream with alpha-hydroxy acids, which act by performing a slight superficial exfoliation of the epidermis. The skin is renewed, but with less melanin, if the previous 2 points have been followed. If we had not reduced the amount of melanin formed, the renewed skin would continue to maintain the spots.
When should sunscreen creams be used?
Sunscreen creams should be used during the day, while the rest can be used day/night.
When is the serum applied?
The serum is always applied before the face cream.
