Why are they called 0% shampoos?
Because they do not contain sulfates, silicones, dyes, MI and salt.
What ingredients replace sulfates, silicones and salt?
– Sulfate substitutes: other much milder and less irritating surfactants for the scalp, such as betaine, amphora acetates, sulfosuccinates, and isethionate.
– Silicone substitutes: instead of them, the shampoo contains oligosaccharides of vegetable origin and Phytokeratine (proteins of natural origin), both of which lightly condition and soften the hair, achieving hydrated, nourished, loose, and manageable hair.
– Salt substitute: thickener that provides a sponge texture indicated for sensitive skin formulations.
What is the difference between a shampoo with sulfates and a shampoo without sulfates?
The biggest difference with a regular shampoo with sulfates is the sensitization of the scalp. The sulfate-containing shampoos have high foaming and cleansing power, and sulfate-free shampoos are less irritating to sensitive scalps.
There are already other sulfate-free shampoos on the market, but they are poor in viscosity, foam, and cleansing power. Our 0% shampoo with a spongy texture and high viscosity, achieves a much softer foam, with finer and smaller air bubbles, giving the sensation of a creamier foam, obtaining extreme softness and cleanliness on the hair.
How can we identify a shampoo with sulfates?
The most common sulfate-containing surfactants are sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), and sodium coco sulfate (SCS).
What are the benefits of sulfate-free shampoos?
